A saltwater fishing license is required south of Highway 90. Between Highway 90 and Interstate 10 either a saltwater or freshwater license will do. Anglers under 16 are exempt. Saltwater licenses are sold online through the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks licensing site, linked from the MDMR licensing page.
